The van hire is never the expensive part of relocating a business — the lost days are. That is why our office removals are planned backwards from the moment you need to be trading again, and why the majority of our commercial work happens on a Friday evening, a Saturday or over a bank holiday weekend.
We start with a walk-round and a simple inventory: desks, pedestals, chairs, meeting tables, monitors, servers, printers, stock, archive boxes and anything that needs specialist handling. Everything is labelled by destination desk or room, so unloading is a placement exercise rather than a puzzle.
IT is treated separately. Screens are sleeved and boxed, cables are bagged and tagged to their machine, and server or comms equipment is moved last and unloaded first so your IT provider can bring the network up while the furniture is still going in.
For small businesses across Manchester, Bolton and Warrington the whole job is often a single evening in the 15m³ Transit at £70 per hour with two movers. Larger sites are split into phased runs across a weekend, with a written schedule so you know exactly which department moves when.

Office removals FAQs
Can you move us outside working hours?
Yes, and we recommend it. Evenings, weekends and bank holidays are our busiest commercial slots and carry the same hourly rate as a weekday job.
Do you carry business insurance?
We hold goods in transit and public liability cover, and we can supply certificates to your building management or landlord before the move.
Can you move IT equipment?
We move, protect and place all standard IT hardware. Reconnection and network configuration is best handled by your own IT provider, and we schedule around them.
How is a commercial move priced?
The same transparent hourly rates: £45 for one man and van, £70 for two men and van (minimum 2 hours booking), billed for the hours worked. Larger phased projects can be quoted as a fixed package.
Do you charge extra for lifts or stairs on office moves?
No. Lift access is free, and stairs are included in the hourly rate — you only pay for the time on site. The per-floor surcharge on our price list applies to residential flat moves, not commercial buildings.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes, two hours minimum on any job. After that we bill in 30-minute blocks, so a job finishing at 3 hours 20 minutes is charged as 3.5 hours.
How quickly can you quote and book us in?
Send the two postcodes, floor levels and a rough inventory and you will normally have a written quote within the hour on working days. Out-of-hours slots are usually available within a week, sooner for small offices.
Do you supply crates and packing for the office?
We can supply cartons, wrap and labels at cost, and pack desks and archives for you at the same hourly rate. Most offices self-pack personal items and let us handle the bulky and fragile kit.
