How much does a man and van cost in Wigan?
Our standard rate is £45 per hour for one man and van, or £70 per hour for two movers. House stairs are included in the price. Flats above ground floor add £10 per mover per floor unless there is a lift, in which case there is no extra charge.
Is there a minimum booking time?
One-man jobs can be booked for as little as one hour. Two-man bookings have a two-hour minimum, which covers the extra crew and ensures the job is done safely and on time.
What areas do you cover?
We cover Wigan, Leigh, Bolton, Manchester, Atherton, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Golborne, Lowton, Hindley, Tyldesley, Shevington, St Helens, Warrington, Preston and surrounding towns within about 50 miles of Wigan.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We do not ask for a deposit. You pay after the move is complete by cash or bank transfer, once everything is in the right room.
Can I change my move date after booking?
Yes. Dates can usually be moved free of charge if you give us at least 48 hours' notice. Short-notice changes are handled case by case.
What size van do you use?
Every job is done in our own Ford Transit LWB with a 15m³ load space, big enough for most two- and three-bedroom house moves in one trip.
